Language Extender package includes drivers of Russian Asus A639 on-screen keyboard and Russian regional settings. As optional feature, it provides translation of Asus A639 interface to Russian language.
With Asus A639 Russian support you can input information in Russian language in any
application on your Asus A639, edit it, save, transfer to other Asus A639 or
desktop computers and print documents including texts in Russian language.
Asus A639 Russian support features:
- Optional full Asus A639 interface Russian translation (all icons, menus,
dialogs of Asus A639 interface and built-in Asus A639 applications will be translated)
- On-screen keyboard layout for Russian letters input. You can use different
Russian layouts

on-screen keyboard or Asus A639 external keyboard (not available in Pocket
PC, Pocket PC 2002 versions)

- Special module for external Asus A639 keyboard that allows using portable
keyboards to type in Russian with different Russian layouts

applications (for example, MS Office applications)
- Modified Character Recognizer (Letter Recognizer) to write Russian symbols
(by default you can write only English symbols on Asus A639), availability

"The program is working perfectly. Just to feedback, I turned off translation of
the interface, because I am used to read English menues on the computer. Basically, I am using Russian
to type Word documents, such as messages to friends (it is better to express some thoughts in Russian).
I like appearing hinting words, while I am typing. It is very helpful and allows to type quicker. I am
thankful for a large selection of hinting words, which are covering broad range of subjects. Also switching
between Russian and English is extremely easy and allows to use Russian and English words in the same
document. Thank you for a good program and good customer support."
